When you arrive at Bethesda Back Center Chiropractic Office, Dr. Beech and her assistant will welcome you and Dr. Beech will sit down with you to understand and review your needs. This will entail a discussion of your current symptoms and discussion of your medical history as it pertains to your current situation. If you decide to proceed with the care she will perform an orthopedic exam to evaluate your exact problem.
If chiropractic x-rays are necessary they will be taken at Bethesda Back Center the same day. Dr. Beech will then go over your x-ray findings, your diagnosis and she will formulate a treatment plan for you. The treatment will consist of physiotherapies such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, massage, moist heat, and traction to accelerate the healing process and reduce muscle spasms. Gentle chiropractic adjustments or alignment of the vertebra will be performed, to loosen the restricted joints that are generally the cause of the pain.
If Dr. Beech feels you are not a chiropractic case, she will recommend you to another health care professional in the community to address your needs. As needed, Dr. Beech will work with other medical physicians and alternative health care providers as an adjunct to your chiropractic care, should your care not respond fully to the chiropractic care.
